BIO

Mike Smiff

There is a lot to say about the man who calls himself The Voice Of The Voiceless. With a gift of painting vivid pictures through his lyrics and undeniable talent that captures you immediately, Slip-N-Slide Records signee Mike Smiff is in a lane of his own.

In 2017, Smiff released his first project under the Slip-N-Slide Records imprint; Chase Dis Money. The mixtape is titled after the rapper’s infectious, motivational breakout single of the same name which has garnered over 4 million video views and 2 million audio streams since its release. “Chase Dis Money” chronicles the gritty South Miami upbringing that molded him into the man and storyteller that he is today. In the same year, he collaborated with his mentor, rap legend Trick Daddy and Trina on their single “Paradise” – performing the ode to their city on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Miami season 1 reunion. His music would later land more television placements as his musical storytelling can be heard throughout season one of OWN’s series David Make’s Man.

Packed with contributions from the likes of Boosie, Mozzy, City Girls and more, Smiff’s highly anticipated 2019 mixtape All Gas No Brakes Vol. 3 was released to much fanfare. In 2020, he and brother Rondo Smiff released their joint mixtape Family Business. The musical family affair was coupled with a city-to-city contest in which the duo allowed the fans to choose family-owned restaurants for them to hold free meal meet and greets throughout Florida.

With cosigns by artists like Kodak Black, Boosie and Trick Daddy, he is well on his way to be the next rapper to blow out of Miami.

“Adversity causes some men to break – and others to break records,” says Smiff.
